2. Waitlist / preorder updates

When you sign up for the waitlist we process your email address, your consent, the time of consent, a salted hash of your IP address and your user agent in order to document the consent and prevent abuse.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
• Retention: until consent is withdrawn.
• Withdrawal: at any time via floats@floathousestudio.com or the unsubscribe link in every message.

3. Orders & payment

Orders are processed via our payment and shipping provider Shopify International Limited. Data required for the order (name, address, email, payment details) is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract). Payment details are processed exclusively by Shopify; we do not receive access to card data.

4. Hosting

This website is delivered through our platform provider's infrastructure on a CDN (Cloudflare). Each request generates technically necessary server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Requests to floats@floathousestudio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (for Berlin: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
